Sidi Yeti

Sidi Yeti, beautiful, peaceful place in Djerba (an island off the coast of southern Tunisia). It is the name of one of the oldest mosques in Tunisia, situated close to the sea, ideal for photos.

Short but sweet

Went to Croatia towards the end of May, birthday present from the girlfriend. Competition grew since she got me the holiday to Berlin for my birthday, I felt I had to top it. I thought that I was way ahead after booking the holiday on the beautiful island of Hvar, four star hotel, breakfast included. However, when we arrived at Split airport and picked up the rent-a-car, didn't realise how long it would take to get from Split to Hvar...We had to wait 4 hours for the next ferry, and the ferry took 2 hours....Since we were only there for four days, one of those days was spent travelling.
So yeah, bad organisation on my part. Apart from that, great holiday, Croats are incredibly friendly people and don't take advantage of tourists! The beaches, although pebbles (I prefer pebbles, personally) were amazing; the water was incredibly limpid and refreshing! See for yourself. The equipment I used was my old reliable Pentax K200D + SMC 18-55mm DA.
As always, please email me for queries or copies/prints: alexandersouabni@gmail.com.

Kelibia, Tunisia

Tunisia: North African country, known for the Jasmine Revolution of January 14th 2011 which set the ball rolling for the other Revolutions which took place or even still taking place across the Middle East.  Since it's the country of my father, I have been visiting Tunisia, Djerba, Nabeul, Hammamet, since I was 2 years of age. As you can see by my location, I am currently in Tunisia, however in Djerba. Beautiful island near the South of the country, will be leaving tomorrow; back to 'summery' England.
Kelibia is a town in the North-East of the country, visited two summers ago. Only two photos are worthy of being uploaded, since, once again, I used the Panasonic Lumix TZ-5. Enjoy!

The Eye

Be nice to the South of France, it's been nice to me!

South of France, Alpes Maritimes, Cote d'Azur, Nice, Cannes, Antibes. Whatever you want to call it, it is quite essentially an amazing place. Grew up there for 10 years, great years, still go back. If you have the opportunity, check it out, you won't be disappointed! Great beaches during the summer, perfect snow in the mountains during the winter! Only a couple photos recovered from my computer, again using Panasonic Lumix TZ-5 so not great, but enjoy them nonetheless!
