Tunisia and the Island of Djerba

Just off the South-East coast of Tunisia is an island called Djerba. Beautiful place for tourists, beautiful place for the natives. The roots of my family (on my father's side) go all the way back to this Island, its been good to us. I have so many photos of Tunisia, please enjoy them all!

Short but sweet

Went to Croatia towards the end of May, birthday present from the girlfriend. Competition grew since she got me the holiday to Berlin for my birthday, I felt I had to top it. I thought that I was way ahead after booking the holiday on the beautiful island of Hvar, four star hotel, breakfast included. However, when we arrived at Split airport and picked up the rent-a-car, didn't realise how long it would take to get from Split to Hvar...We had to wait 4 hours for the next ferry, and the ferry took 2 hours....Since we were only there for four days, one of those days was spent travelling.
So yeah, bad organisation on my part. Apart from that, great holiday, Croats are incredibly friendly people and don't take advantage of tourists! The beaches, although pebbles (I prefer pebbles, personally) were amazing; the water was incredibly limpid and refreshing! See for yourself. The equipment I used was my old reliable Pentax K200D + SMC 18-55mm DA.
As always, please email me for queries or copies/prints: alexandersouabni@gmail.com.
More photos on the way!
